On Facebook, the most common way to hack into users' accounts is through likejacking, a kind of spam that is distributed on the social network through videos or links that are attractive to Internet users.
Once users try to access such content, they are redirected to portals created by the cybercriminals themselves to gain access to their victims' accounts without them noticing.
The risk of likejacking lies in the fact that computer criminals gain access to the personal data of the infected user, i.e. name, password, email, phone and even the data of their contacts.
