Comex, the creator of JailbreakMe is hired by Apple

Lately we have seen how companies have stopped attacking hackers from their own platforms to hire them and that they help improve their products. Such has been the case with GeoHot, who had quarrels with Sony. Facebook seeing the potential of this boy, did not take long to contact him to swell its ranks and thus acquire a mind with a great ability for computer security. More recently we saw how Steve Kondik, one of the creators of CyanogenMod was hired by Samsung to apply his knowledge about Android and thus improve the interface of Galaxy products.

So it is no longer surprising that those in Cupertino have been made of @Comex, one of the most famous iOS hackers, creator of JailbreakMe, Nicholas Allegra, a 19-year-old student at Brown University.
The same Comex from his Twitter profile has released the news that he would be starting to work next week as an intern at Apple.

It's been a lot, a lot of fun, but it's also been a while and I've been bored. So, next week I'll be starting an internship with Apple.

It should be remembered that JailbreakMe, has been used by more than two million people to jailbreak their devices and that so far it is the simplest way to perform this procedure, both for the iPhone and for iPad and that now this character will be on the other side of the coin.

It will surely help strengthen the security of iOS, since Nichollas has already said that it is very easy for him to find errors of this nature in the code of Apple's mobile operating system. Many will criticize his decision as it is definitely a big loss for the world of Jailbreak, but iOS users should also see what they gain by having a developer on Apple's side who will help keep all our information safer and keep access to malicious code at bay.

As they say, no one better at plugging security holes than the expert at finding them and as for Comex, he definitely found the opportunity he was waiting for.
