Facebook has been added to the "top 10" list of the most detested companies in the United States. The information has been published by the US consumer satisfaction index ASCI, reproduced by Business Insider.
The list consists mainly of airlines, telephone operators and supply companies. These are quasi-monopoly sectors, where there is not much competition. This situation means that companies have no greater interest or rush to improve their customer service.
The same principle seems to apply to social media, where Facebook has a predominant position.
According to ACSI, Facebook's big problem is the privacy of its users and the protection of their personal data. Facebook users also complain about the new features imposed on them and the sudden closure of applications, without prior notice.
In this context, it is worth mentioning a recent interview of All Things Digital with the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, where he looks nervous and confused when confronted with Facebook's privacy policies. When asked directly "Do you feel that you are violating the privacy of Facebook users?", Zuckerberg is uncomfortable and responds with evasiveness. Then he begins to sweat profusely, to the point that the interviewer asks him: "Do you want to take off your sweatshirt (in English "hoodie")?" Zuckerberg replies , "I never take it off." However, 30 seconds later, instead of answering a new question, he says "Maybe I should take it off," and he does.
At this point, Zuckerberg looks confused and even distressed. Faced with such a situation, the interviewer tells her "We're not even yelling at you." The video sequence, just over three minutes long, is available on YouTube.
