Colombia: Safety Last Group Press Release Against lleras Law

Safety Last Group, a group of hackers that attacked NASA, issues a statement about the Lleras Act. They criticize what they have described as false hacktivism as Anonymous_co and warn that they are going through several state websites.

Safety Last Group, a group of hackers with a recognized trajectory worldwide, published a video on YouTube where they warn the Government of Colombia that they will "attack" several state websites.

The group has already attacked several portals of important Colombian companies in the past. In his list of achievements is La Casa Editorial El Tiempo, Nacional de Chocolates, Teleantioquia, Bogotá.gov.co, Fiduagraria, Government of Mexico, Telmex, Ministry of Housing of Spain, Argentine Army, among others.

In their statement they criticize and describe as false hacktivism the operations carried out by Anonymous in Colombia which, according to them, is child's play compared to the knowledge that would be needed to really hack a website.

They also denounce that Anonymous has falsely attributed attacks that they have not carried out.

In order to understand what they mean, it is necessary to know technically what kind of attacks Anonymous performs. In the computer world what this group has done is called the DDOS Attack. In it, a computer is used to send many requests to a server. This generates that the visited site is out of the air and that is why when a netizen wants to enter the web he can not do it.

Key points of the Safety Last Group statement

  1. They warn that they will attack several state websites
  2. Law for the rich, for those who have to pay. And for those who do not have?.
  3. The only means of study they have is: the Internet. Lleras Law is designed for those who can afford licenses. And those who can't?
  4. Lleras, goes for votes and is one more politician.
  5. Listening to music from another country will be impossible.
