SmartPanics is updated with new features

Latin America. SmartPanics, the global security mobile application created by SoftGuard that works as a panic button and that already has more than 4 years in the market saving lives and offering total security to all users, presents important updates in this month of June 2018, where all users will be able to download the new version of the iOS and Android stores, as always for free.

In SoftGuard they work with daily dedication so that all their users have not only the most powerful tools to provide monitoring service, but also adapt in order to offer a differentiated service, always leading the way in terms of security.

And if we talk about adaptation and optimization, SmartPanics undoubtedly leads the way in every way.

The built-in changes mainly aim at optimizing the space on the main screen of the App, where the "My Alarms" buttons are located.

Here you will quickly notice an improved aesthetic in terms of the arrangement of the buttons, covering larger screen size for ease of use.

These enlarged buttons are automatically adjusted according to the services that the provider company defines to give. For example: there are companies that only offer monitoring for SOS and Assistance buttons, in this case for "My Alarms" only 2 buttons will be visible occupying these the total of the screen.

Another of the improvements introduced in the new version of SmartPanics is the fifth button called "I'm here". The use of the same aims to report in a simple and concrete way the arrival at a destination.

Whoever presses it will be informing the administrators of the group by push message their location on the map with the possibility of adding a written message, audio, photo and video (for example, in a family the adolescent son to his parents when arriving at a friend's house or in commercial use a seller on the street for the arrival at the home of a client).

As for the button, "On the Way" we have extended the configuration of the times on Android devices, both for that function and for the tracking to destination, so you can safely reach your destination regardless of the time of the journey.

One of the new and most important functions is the integration of remote commands for remote device control, from the APP you can activate and deactivate alarm panels, open doors or sales, turn lights on or off, and many other home automation functions.

Also available in this new version is the use of "widgets" or shortcuts that smartphones have.

In this way the "My Alarms" buttons are within reach of a single click and can be operated completely, without requiring entry to the application. In the case of Iphone, the widgets are accessed by sliding from left to right the main screen of smartphone icons.  For Android phones it is accessed by holding down the background on the main screen.

"Force Touch" is also a new feature available in principle for iOs. On the home screen of the smartphone you must hold down the smartpanics App button with intensity giving access to my messages where the push notifications are for review of the notices sent and the SOS button for direct sending of an alarm.

Remember that in Android you can already use the side power button of the smartphone as a trigger for the SOS button, pressing it 4 times continuously (in the total span of 5 seconds)

As for the "tracking" function, it has also been simplified in this new version, being able to select the frequency of the report in 3 scales: Low - Medium - High, covering in each of them the distance and time relationship together.

In low frequency the automatic position report is programmed for variations of approximately 3,000 meters and 30 minutes, for average frequency of 1,500 meters and 15 minutes and for high frequency before position variations of 500 meters and 5 minutes.

Another improvement within the "groups" function is that they have the option to convert the common user profile to coordinator without requiring assistance from the service provider. As a plus, the option to place a photo of the user when viewing their position on the map was added, in which they can also request the last position of this. Additionally, an address finder is added to create a geofence and at the time of creating it, the last position sent by the device will appear.

IOS users and group administrators will be able to have the Hidden Mode function that will allow them to momentarily hide their position, without the other members of the group being able to know it.

As for the "My Mobiles" function, it is now possible to display the position of your vehicles.

Push Notifications also come with improvements, which will be received with the alarm code, zone and user at the time of an event. In the same way, a warning warning is added when you want to eliminate any push notification. Showing in "My messages" not only the information of the event, but also the position on the map and the multimedia sent with the event, either photos, videos or audios.

Finally, and in line with the global expansion that SmartPanics is having in the world, the French language has been added to the application.

All these new features continue to make SmartPanics, the most innovative and revolutionary Global Security APP on the market.
