Allegion integrates Keri Systems software with Schlage Locks

International. Following the transaction, it is claimed that the integration is suitable for multifamily property managers looking to modernize their existing properties with electronic access control in individual apartment spaces.

Allegion, a provider of security products and solutions, announces that the latest version of Keri Systems' software now supports Schlage locks in "no-tour mode." No Tour mode allows you to modify access to a lock without having to visit it.

They indicate that compatible locks, which include Schlage Control, NDE, and LE, are suitable for multifamily property managers looking to modernize their existing properties with electronic access control in individual apartment spaces.

Allegion says this provides more security, eliminates unnecessary expenses related to traditional key management, and offers a better tenant experience with ID card or dial-up access. It also makes it an option to consider common areas within the building, such as meeting rooms, recreational areas, and laundry rooms.

"Allegion strives to deliver solutions that keep people safe and give business peace of mind," says Robert Gaulden, Allegion's business leader, electronic access control. "Schlage offers a complete multifamily solution, and having Keri Systems onboard with its easy-to-use software is a huge advantage for us and our customers."

The new capability of Keri software makes it suitable for managing all aspects of a multifamily property, from exterior doors and parking doors to gates and common areas for residents.

"With the additional no-tour capabilities, we now offer the ability to manage Schlage locks in RS-485, Gateway and Wi-Fi Direct modes," says Vince Deiuliis, Keri's director of marketing and national accounts. "We are proud to be able to show our dedicated support for this powerful and flexible locking solution."
