New network cameras with smart lenses and CS mount present

Latin America. Axis Communications strengthens its product portfolio by introducing the new AXIS Q1645 and AXIS Q1647 camera series. With a resolution of 2 and 5 MP, network cameras have a unique light sensitivity in the market. The devices offer high-resolution video and provide sharp images. Built-in analytics help devices make smart decisions, for example, about operations and resource allocation.

AXIS Q1645 Network Camera features a variety of intelligent features that make decision-making easier, improve security, and enable easy image use. The equipment offers  a quick and hassle-free installation. With analytics such as AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard and AXIS Loitering Guard, AXIS Q1645 offers proactive surveillance. The user has orientation that enables dynamic text overlays, street names, and a compass symbol for quick location if using multiple monitors.

In addition, the intelligent technology of i-CS lenses, allows a quick and simple installation. Thanks to the information stored in the lens, it and the camera can exchange data such as model type, manufacturer, geometric distortion, focal length and f-number, thus optimizing image quality.

AXIS Q1647 Network Camera is a camera that offers a high degree of sharpness in images. The equipment offers high-resolution video at a full frame rate for clear images even in low light. Built-in analytics help make smart decisions, for example, in operations and resource allocation.

Additionally, the user can choose between three scene profiles: forensic, live and traffic monitoring.  For each profile, AXIS Q1647 automatically optimizes the exposure time, white balance, aperture, sharpness, contrast and noise of each camera in your surveillance solution to suit specific usage scenarios. The result is always excellent image quality and cost-effective installation.
