Softguard Introduces Comprehensive Security Solution for Student Communities

Latin America. SoftGuard presents security and prevention solutions to multiply the individual protection of students, teachers and administrative staff in universities and colleges.

The SoftGuard system receives and manages alarms from fixed targets (classrooms, administrative offices, auditoriums, library, etc.) and mobile targets (automotive, mobile surveillance, etc.) integrated with the SmartPanics and Vigicontrol modules.

Smartphones offer enormous possibilities as personal emergency warning devices. They allow to multiply the individual protection of students, teachers or administrators at the time of an altercation either for some situation of danger, medical assistance, gender violence or to prevent them.

The alerts sent by the students through their smartphones will be received at the monitoring center of the university or college through the Internet or SMS to be attended by the operators immediately.

These events will be accompanied by the position of the device by the internal methods of the smartphone and in the SoftGuard Monitoring module it will be shown with a location map to the operator. The advanced video function will allow the user to send an image of the development of the emergency from the smartphone camera. In addition, the application allows you to send two-way audio through a call through the telephone line and send an SMS with the event data to be attended in the monitoring center.

Each student, teacher or administrator will be able to count on the application after being downloaded from the Stores or Markets corresponding to each company without the need to pay or buy an anti-panic button.

SmartPanics has 5 buttons for sending alarm events, located on the main screen: SOS / Panic, Fire, Assistance, On the Way and I'm Here

SmartPanics is useful when:

  • • A student or teacher is at risk (theft, intruders on campus, fire, etc.)
  • • An emergency situation arises where immediate assistance is required.
  • • There is an irregular situation on campus.
  • • Parents of students need to know the location of their children.
  • • There are cases of bullying, violence, strangers, drug sales, etc.

Through the SmartPanics APP, the educational institution will be able to send notices by push messages to the entire student community in the face of a particular situation such as important communications, special activities, registrations and even disease prevention campaigns, etc. This service is subsidized within the SmartPanics APP.

VIGICONTROL – Monitoring system for guards, watchmen, cleaning and maintenance staff.

With this powerful tool, the institution will be able to carry out the complete control and audit of the actions of the personnel within the campus: validated position report via GPS, sending alerts of live man, report of incidents visualized during the tour, sending images captured from the same smartphone, all this and much more received online in the monitoring center 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Vigicontrol is a multi-link application that ensures the sending of alerts, the most used being the TCP-IP route, either by WI-FI or by cellular data network (GPRS-LTE), as well as sending by SMS when the data network is not available.

VigiControl has the following buttons:
SOS: Allows the sending of a panic alert that includes position data and the possibility of attaching an image, video or voice memo.

Living Man: It is a control of presence. It consists of a button that will be activated from time to time random to be pressed and cancel the alarm sending. If it is not activated in the foreseen time, an alert is generated in the monitoring center.

Round: Allows the guard to send a notice of ARRIVAL or DEPARTURE each time he arrives or leaves his post, as well as when he passes through each control point defined for the round. The event will be accompanied by date, time and position on map.

News: allows the sending of news to the monitoring center, being able to attach information through an image, a QR code, text or voice notes and make calls.
