CDVI announces Merik as new wholesaler

Mexico. As part of the growth strategy in CDVI, a strategic alliance has been consolidated with Merik, a distributor-wholesaler specialized in door automation, which can be naturally integrated into access control systems. 

This comes to enhance the business of its distributors who offer solutions for the residential, industrial and motor transport market. Fabrice Bioulet, Sales Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at CDVI, adding a new wholesale ally will provide a greater positioning of the brand since Merik currently owns approximately 80 percent of the door market nationwide, in addition its channel base can increase its income in each project by adding the access control part. 

"With this strategic move we seek to do more business in markets where new opportunities, as it will now be possible to integrate projects with complete solutions for automation of gates and vehicular accesses," said the executive.

For his part, Ramces Samuel Porras, Access Control Line Manager at Merik, commented that his business model includes 27 offices nationwide and another almost the same in the franchise scheme which implies more than half a hundred points where the channel can now find CDVI access control solutions.

This company has committed to accompany Merik distributors in their specialization process, in a first stage with Atrium solutions and in a second phase, for those who want to take their knowledge to the highest level, certifications of the Centaur line will be carried out. 

"All this accompanied by commercial training, marketing support and top-notch technical support services," said Fabrice Bioulet. 

As part of its first activities, CDVI accompanied Merik to hold an event for its team of installers in Mexico City, taking advantage of the space to convey a message about the development plans it has as a manufacturer and how it will help boost new businesses.

"We invite all distributors to know how our access control systems can boost more business, because in the market of automation of gates and vehicular accesses our solutions are integrated naturally, adding another layer of security that will surely make them more attractive to the end user," concluded the Sales Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at CDVI.
