Free Video Management System Viewer for Small and Medium Businesses

Latin America. With Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) 7.5, the company has expanded its range of VMS software with the introduction of BVMS 7.5 Viewer, a new variety aimed at small and medium-sized applications.

This free-to-access level version of Bosch's existing Video Management System allows small business owners to view various streams of live video from their surveillance cameras in high resolution from their computer screen. It also allows you to play back recorded videos and perform forensic searches on video recordings.

BVMS 7.5 Viewer is especially easy to install and use and can be downloaded free of charge from the Bosch website. Accessing live and recorded video requires only two configuration steps: first, users assign their selected devices to the system, and then simply organize and group them according to their needs.

Thanks to the software's motion and forensic search function, it is possible to search for a specific event even a huge database of recordings in a matter of seconds. Search rules can be easily defined using a graphical user interface and can be modified even after an event. For example, once a theft occurs, a store security director can easily define a specific perimeter, corresponding to the specific area or even shelf where the item was stolen.

You can then quickly search the video database to locate any suspicious activity that has occurred at that perimeter. BVMS 7.5 Viewer will display the section of the video recording containing that particular event on the user's desktop or laptop screen in a matter of seconds, so there's no need to look at hours of recordings trying to find the exact moment the item was removed from the shelf.

BVMS 7.5 Viewer is a scalable solution for Windows operating systems. It is compatible with all Bosch video products and expands with the needs of the user.
The free version supports up to 16 video cameras and five recording devices, in up to 16 different locations. If more places or more advanced features are needed, it can be easily extended to a paid solution to include more features and support up to 10,000 locations, reusing existing configuration and with the same design so that no additional training is required for operators.
