Latin America. The latest from Fermax is a proposal that seeks to create a trend: a small and thin monitor, aesthetically impeccable and perfect finish that can be located anywhere in a home or office. It works hands-free, so it is controlled only with one finger, and offers all the features required in a modern video intercom. And all with Duox technology.
The "extra-small" size is called to occupy a large space in the video intercom market since, for aesthetics or space, there are many promoters and users who prefer small formats. For all of them and with a vocation to create a trend, Fermax has just presented its VEO-XS monitor, a small and extraordinarily thin video intercom that maintains a first class design and finishes and offers the best features. It is comfortable to use and also comfortable to install and program, because we are talking about a product with Duox technology, the full digital Fermax that works on two non-polarized wires.
The careful design of this monitor follows the line of the VEO family. The same DNA, which puts the accent on what is basic, but created to further seek the essence by reducing its dimensions. In addition to being small and thin, the equipment dispenses with the headset, allowing the user to operate it with only one finger. The intuitive use of the equipment is another of its characteristics; for this, mechanical pushbuttons and an OSD menu are combined. With the blue button the door is opened and with the rest of the buttons conversation is established, the camera is turned on, extra functions are activated or the parameters are adjusted. With the on-screen menu, the rest of the functions are activated. And there is still one more detail: a wheel for volume control located on the side of the product.
And we are talking about a video intercom that has as standard all the features that today we consider basic in a team, from the regulation of image and volume to the selection of melodies or the silence mode. It also allows you to open a second door, turn on additional lights or call the concierge. It even incorporates the "doormatic" mode, a function that, when activated, makes the door open automatically when receiving a call, as required in many offices and businesses. From an installation point of view, VEO-XS has the advantage of having been designed directly for DUOX technology, which implies simplicity of programming and wiring. And if those reasons are useful in new construction, they are even more so thinking about replacement, because it avoids passing new threads. In addition, Fermax offers a decorative frame so that this monitor can be installed in any space where there was a phone before without having to retouch paint.
In short, a bet that we predict successful because the "extra-small" format makes even more attractive the already interesting design of VEO and its many features, all those that we already consider "basic" in the sector.
