Colombia. Axis Communications has developed smart technologies to enter the market for store audio systems. AXIS C2005 ceiling-recessed IP speakers and AXIS C1004-E surface speakers are all-in-one solutions that include amplifier, mixer, signal processor, streaming functionality, power source and microphone, all pre-configured for immediate use.
With Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, a single network cable provides data and powers each speaker. Therefore, the units are connected to the switch only by the network cable, without the need for a system for synchronization or any other equipment. No knowledge of audio is necessary to install or use it.
The new IP speakers can be used, for example, for a scheduled announcement about the opening of a store, followed by the performance of predefined music throughout the day. Background music may be interrupted at certain times to make scheduled or live announcements about offers. At the end of the day, a standard alert can be issued at fixed times, before the store closes, in a synchronized and homogeneous way in all environments.
On the other hand, it is also possible to assign and control each unit individually or in subgroups. By creating zones with a addressable set of speakers, you can direct, for these, background music different from that in the rest of the store, as well as live and pre-recorded ads specific to these areas. Additionally, the volume of each unit can be adjusted separately.

"Traditional analog audio equipment requires high investment and technical know-how, and tends to generate a greater need for maintenance, since they represent more points of failure."
Created for professional use, the new Axis IP speakers allow you to play background music via the pre-installed AXIS Audio Player app. Music lists can be created offline (with the SD memory card) or using audio streaming services. Files with pre-recorded ads can be executed from a certain event identified by video surveillance cameras. In addition, the speakers come with SIP support, making it easy to integrate with VoIP telephony systems (e.g. for live alerts).
AXIS C2005 speaker is ideal for discreet use in internal spaces, and AXIS C1004-E comes in black or white and is resistant to water jets. Both are now available in South America.
