The cameras in this series, cutting edge in the industry, are ideal for low light conditions. They offer sharp color images in light conditions of just 0.002 luxes, black and white images in conditions of 0.0002 luxes and 0 luxes with infrared, all these conditions in which conventional models of cameras for low light situations would fail.
The best in the industry
The UK's PSI magazine, which specialises in the security industry, awards its Premier Awards annually based on reader feedback, who recognise the products and distributors they consider to be the best in the industry. According to PSI editor Andy Clutton, more than 1,000 nominations were received in all eight award categories in 2016. Factors such as the characteristics, advantages, ease of installation and technical service of the products are taken into consideration in the nomination process of the finalists.

Excellent performance
The Darkfighter PTZ camera series is equipped with up to 36x optical zoom, 1/1.9"' progressive scan CMOS image sensor with 2MP full high resolution. The cameras feature an infrared range of up to 200 meters for viewing in total darkness conditions with electronic image stabilization (EIS), wide dynamic range (WDR) of 120dB, 3D digital noise reduction (DNR) and IP66 degree of environmental protection. The series also offers a large number of smart sensing technologies and an intelligent tracking feature that further improve image quality and operational comfort. It streams video with a full high definition resolution of 1920x 1080 at the maximum playback speed of images.
Real-world results
The Darkfighter PTZ camera is producing endless positive results for the city of Salford in the north-west of England. The municipality's CCTV staff had struggled to use other cameras to provide an effective monitoring service 24 hours a day, because they failed to capture high-quality images in low-light situations late at night. This situation changed when they installed Hikvision's Darkfighter PTZ cameras in the centre of the Eccles area; they were immediately able to view and record color images in high resolution, even after 11 p.m., when most incidents occur.
