International. The new WiseNet HeatMap (heat maps) and People Counting cameras were presented, the result of the technological collaboration with Facit. Hanwha Techwin Europe's new cameras have the Facit app pre-installed, allowing it to work from the first minute of commissioning.
Wisenet HeatMap Camera
The Wisenet SNV-6013/FHM HeatMap camera provides accurate, real-time information on customer behavior inside stores. For example, by showing the hot spots within the establishment, you can see the buying patterns of customers and the time they stay in it. In addition, it has the function of video recording in fast motion which provides information of great value when making decisions (e.g. where to place certain products), since it allows to identify those areas of the store that have little activity.
The user interface, web version, allows you to access data in real time and configure the cameras remotely, while generating automatic daily, weekly or monthly reports that can be sent by FTP or email.
People counting
The Wisenet SND-6084/FPC camera for two-way people counting allows retailers to measure the efficiency of their stores by comparing customer footfall to actual sales. It also identifies the busiest days, hours and seasons, helping to manage peaks and troughs in the flow of customers on cash lines.
The SND-6084/FPC camera can be installed in a corner or in front of the entrance to offer a very efficient combined video surveillance and people counting solution.
Like the Wisenet HeatMap camera, the Wisenet People Counting camera has a web user interface that can be used to monitor in real time the number of clients and display configurable graphs to see the activity of some time periods.
Technology collaboration
By pre-installing applications that Hanwha Techwin Europe engineers have fully evaluated and tested, installers, system integrators and users save themselves the time and effort of having to search for applications from an ever-growing and rapidly growing list.
"We are proud to be experts in revolutionary video surveillance and recording technologies. After listening carefully to the market, we now offer a selection of pre-installed applications to make it easier for our customers to choose and offer a comprehensive video surveillance solution," said Dan England, Head of Partnerships at Hanwha Techwin Europe. "That's why we have technology agreements with a wide range of specialized application developers, such as Facit, that get the most out of the Open Platform functionalities of WiseNetIII cameras."
"Offering Facit's HeatMap and People Counting apps pre-installed on Wisenet cameras reduces installation times and costs and offers a very easy-to-configure solution."
