Latin America. Milestone Systems, the open platform video management software (VMS) company, announces updates to the Milestone Customer Dashboard, an online monitoring service of the system.
This service allows Milestone's business partners to know in real time the system status of customers' facilities and proactively resolve potential issues before causing disruptions to the customer's business activities.
Milestone Customer Dashboard receives continuous system updates from customers' facilities via Milestone Care Plus and an Internet connection. The business partner accesses the Customer Dashboard through their profile on the easy-to-use Milestone Partner Portal. Partners are free to access information anytime, anywhere so they stay up-to-date, even during their travels from one place to another.
The exceptionally positive reception from the partner community accelerated the development and launch of new facilities, including:
- Personalized email messages to give accurate responses. System integrators can now customize notifications about system errors, so they are only notified of errors that are relevant to them.
- Optimized system history. System integrators can now quantify the value of their service contract by creating system uptime reports that document a given system's maintenance history.
- Better integration with other tools for partners. The credentials for logging in to the Customer Dashboard are the same as for the My Milestone account, which are used to access other resources such as business opportunity management, Milestone partner news, and the events calendar.
- The Customer Dashboard requires no configuration, works automatically, and is compatible with all Milestone products as well as all Models of Milestone Husky Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
