International. With the release of exacqVision 7.4 video management software (VMS), Tyco Security Products introduces a native integration between exacqVision version 7.4 and DSC's PowerSeries Neo intrusion system. ExacqVision video management software (VMS) version 7.4 also includes new integrity configuration indicators, filters, CameraLinks in Exacq Mobile, and optimized server management in Enterprise System Manager (ESM), an integrity monitoring program for exacqVision Enterprise network video recorders (NVRs).
This new integration combines DSC's PowerSeries Neo intrusion functionality with exacqVision VMS software to provide simple operation and simplified security management. With Kantech's access control integration already included in exacqVision 7.2, exacqVision users can operate and control their entire security system, including video surveillance, intrusion and access control from an easy-to-use interface. Combining recorded and live video with access and intrusion detection events unifies security features into a single solution, reducing duplicate jobs. CameraLinks places the most commonly used commands in a quick access place for exacqVision users and greatly increases the response time to alarms and critical events.
With exacqVision version 7.4, a new text filter box appears at the top of the live video navigation, search, and settings trees to more quickly find the camera and server in the exacqVision client. In large enterprise installations, the new tree filtering functionality allows the security operator to quickly locate the desired server.
To simplify installation, exacqVision 7.2 introduces configuration indicators to guide installers through common configuration options to optimize exacqVision configuration for ideal performance. Now in exacqVision 7.4, configuration flags include notification of exacqVision system integrity events. Users will receive real-time notifications on the client when any camera or video recorder integrity event arises that require attention, such as storage, delay in video transmission, system voltage, system temperature, loss of IP camera connection or loss of video. New integrity configuration indicators ensure maximum uptime and increased reliability of exacqVision recorders and IP cameras.
The latest version of the Exacq Mobile app for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 8 devices supports CameraLinks. With Exacq Mobile, users can receive push notifications and review video footage when the security system goes into alarm state. This functionality offers users of the Exacq Mobile application the ability to manage and monitor access control and intrusion events from one place to have a unified video surveillance system.
Enterprise System Manager (ESM) automatically coordinates multiple instances of ESM users to ensure that only one user is active at a time and can make changes to the server. With this new functionality, the ESM synchronizes the actions that are performed on the different servers.
ExacqVision's VMS now supports 3,000 models of IP cameras, including the new Illustra Pro 2 MP 30x PTZ and Samsung Techwin America's new line of WiseNet Lite cameras.
The exacqVision VMS can be accessed through the free exacqVision client software (Windows/Linux/Mac), the free exacqVision web browser available for all leading browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera) and the free Exacq Mobile app for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8 devices. VMS software is included with preconfigured exacqVision NVR servers or can be installed on third-party Windows or Linux-based systems.
