International. Domodedovo International Airport, the largest in Russia and used by more than 30 million passengers a year, has installed more than 400 Samsung video surveillance IP cameras to monitor the daily activity of the border crossing.
Through this airport, located 42 km from Moscow, all passengers must pass through the airport customs area to ensure that import duties are paid and so that law enforcement officials can detect the smuggling of restricted or prohibited goods.
In order to provide law enforcement officials with the best tools to prevent and detect any criminal activity, the Directorate of Construction and Operations of the State Border Facilities of the Russian Federation (Rosgranstroy) decided to replace the analog CCTV system that was installed with a new video surveillance solution based on IP networks, to take full advantage of state-of-the-art high-definition cameras.
Following a tender from the Rosgranstroy Administration, the contract for the installation of the new video surveillance system was awarded to Telros Integration, one of the leading system integrators in the Russian market. The staff monitors the images of the live cameras uninterruptedly from the control room located in the area of the border crossing and are recorded in real time in a server-based system of ITV, specialists in video recording.

The 3-megapixel SND-7061 Full HD network minidome, the 1.3-megapixel SND-5061 network internal dome and the 2-megapixel SNV-6084 WiseNetIII Full HD network vandal-resistant dome have also been installed.
