Latin America. Axis Communications adds the new axis F34 Main Unit total solution to the AXIS F Series family. Along with the products revealed above, the company introduces AXIS F34 Surveillance System, which features a complete software and hardware package that allows easy configuration of HDTV surveillance system, which can be installed discreetly in internal spaces.

AXIS F34 Surveillance System includes AXIS F34 Main Unit, which features an external power supply and four AXIS F1004 Sensor Units that can be discreetly installed with accessories included in ceilings and walls. Also included are two AXIS Surveillance microSDXC 64GB cards (with SD card adapters) that are specifically designed to handle long-lasting performance. The cards are compatible with AXIS F34 Main Unit and feature SD card slots for local storage of recordings, allowing the system to operate independently without the need for an external PC or recording device. Another important feature of the system is the use of the free download of AXIS Camera Companion 3.10 software, which offers simple and secure surveillance monitoring from any device with the software application.
The system works efficiently with two AXIS 64GB cards, allowing video recording with a capacity of one to two weeks of recording. Recording and storage are optimized thanks to the intelligent programs and technologies of AXIS F34 Main Unit and AXIS Camera Companion 3.10 that allow:
*Automatic configuration of AXIS F34 Main Unit for video motion recording and detection.
* Support for Video Motion Detection 3, which has a programmed video analysis and an alarm filter that ignores certain movements such as the movement of trees and small animals, focusing on objects of interest.
*AXIS Zipstream technology is a more efficient application of the H. 264 video encoder that can reduce bandwidth and storage by an average of 50%.
AXIS F34 is part of a series of products based on a network camera concept, where the camera is divided into a single-lens sensor-composite and single-wire image sensor, as well as a single main unit, which integrates the camera body. The cable connects to the main unit sensor and gives installers the ability to mount the small sensor in tight places, while the main unit can be placed elsewhere where there is adequate space. Four channels of AXIS F34 head unit can be connected to connect to four sensor units at once.
With AXIS F34 Surveillance System, axis F1004 four sensors can be installed in four different indoor locations up to 15 m (49 ft.) away from AXIS F34 head unit. AXIS F1004 features 720p resolution, so the main unit can simultaneously stream full frames on HDTV 720p and videos from all four sensors connected through its Ethernet port units.
AXIS F34 Main Unit can additionally be used with AXIS F Sensor Units 1080p, the main unit can stream videos in 1080p 12.5/15 frames per second (50/60 Hz) or 720p full frame rate (25/30 fps) videos from each channel. AXIS F34's complete solution also supports quadrangular streaming view, which combines four separate views of sensors connected to display units simultaneously.
In addition to AXIS Zipstream technology and Video Motion Detection 3; AXIS F34 Main Unit supports alarm and tampering applications by activating the AXIS Camera Application Platform . The main unit can be powered by power over Ethernet or by an external power supply.
AXIS F34 Main Unit and AXIS F34 Surveillance System are available through regular Axis dealers.
