Radar for perimeter protection in large areas

International. The SpotterRF solid-state radar marketed by CCTV CENTER has been designed to counteract the drawbacks of rotating radars by offering a flexible, economical and highly effective radar detection solution.

The result is a compact radar sensor, just 25cm, with a weight ranging between 700g and 2.3kg depending on the model and that can be installed on an existing pole or infrastructure without the need for civil works.

The compact SpotterRF radar is the ideal solution for perimeter protection applications and large areas with an ability to detect targets the size of a person more than 950m away, both day and night, in virtually any weather condition without the inconveniences and added costs of 360º rotating radars.

In addition, it is easy to configure and can be integrated with other radars and PTZ cameras in the facility. Unlike rotating radars that are heavy, complex to configure and very sensitive to terrain slopes and obstacles, SpotterRF solid-state radars stand out for their small size and can be installed at high altitude to take better advantage of the field of view and avoid obstacles and blind spots.

The SpotterRF radar is waterproof (even pressurized water), is ip67 rated and can operate in temperature ranges from -30º to +65º. In addition, as it does not have moving parts subject to wear, it does not require maintenance. Compared to other complex radar calibration systems, the SpotterRF solid-state radar can be configured in just 10 minutes without the need for specialized knowledge through an intuitive web interface.

SpotterRF solid-state radars generate an elliptical coverage area with an opening angle of 90º so that it is very easy to combine several units to effectively cover large areas and perimeters.

An SP-C40 radar sensor can detect and track a moving target the size of a person at any point in the detection zone 350m away. And you can do it in real time, both day and night, with rain, fog and snow.

The SP-C550 model can detect a target the size of a person at a distance of 850m and the size of a car at 1500m. With the SP-C550-EXT the detection distance is extended to 950m (for people).

The SP-C950 (in the process of homologation) is capable of detecting a target the size of a person at a distance of 1250m.
