International. Bosch Security Systems announces the new "Autotracking" function for the AutoDome PTZ IP Series 700 pan-tilt-zoom cameras, due to the new firmware 5.51. Smart Tracking uses AutoDome cameras built into Intelligent Video Analysis (VAT) to constantly monitor motion scenes and thus automatically track moving objects within camera range.
AutoDome cameras equipped with "Autotracking" present a better asset for general surveillance, supporting security personnel with a powerful automatic monitoring system that ensures that the target's activities will not be ignored. With this feature, customers can use the Bosch VAT system to stipulate tasks or conditions that will instantly trigger movement. For example, the camera can be programmed to follow vehicles moving through an area in a specific direction. Operators can also trigger tracking of objects by clicking on the moving object within the live video to ensure that the camera maintains the scene with the actions of rotation, tilt and zoom.
With the use of an advanced algorithm, the AutoDome IP Series 700 camera with "Autotracking" surpasses other moving cameras, since it will resume tracking the object even after passing through privacy masks or if it is hidden for a certain time behind a fixed object. AutoDome follows the object continuously when it reappears or if motion is detected along the same path.
The AutoDome IP Series 700 cameras offer continuous 360-degree rotation, 28x or 36x optical zoom, and progressive digital scanning of images in sharp videos even when moving objects. The cameras also feature a damp and dusty-proof aluminum housing as it has an IP 66 degree of protection. The AutoDome Series 700 also meets THE specifications of ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Form).
