The new Alcea Gateway offers comprehensive real-time situational awareness, remote keyless opening and monitoring, and keyless access management. This comes in response to an increasingly complex landscape of infrastructure in the world, such as the transport sector. During the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games, French railways suffered an increase in incidents that disrupted services and affected about 800,000 passengers.
A similar need for robust security measures has become evident in South Africa, where the telecommunications sector has been severely affected by copper theft. This has led to annual losses of up to USD 381 million in the energy sector alone, highlighting the urgency of this issue.
