International. Snap One, now part of ADI, announced the addition of Qolsys and PowerG DSC safety sensors to its partner portfolio.
This addition is a direct result of the integration of Snap One and ADI and strengthens the company's security offering. Snap One customers now have additional purchasing and integration options to help expand their business, while also providing complete solutions and additional support to their end customers.
"The addition of DSC's Qolsys and PowerG sensors, locks and lights to the Snap One portfolio gives our customers another compelling reason to choose us as their security provider," said Clint Choate, Snap One's security market manager. "These additions enhance our customers' purchasing power, complement our existing offering and leverage integration with existing systems, including Control4. In addition, with training and support, our customers can quickly get up to speed to deliver high-quality security solutions tailored to the ever-evolving needs of their end customers."
Snap One customers can now access a wide range of security panels and sensors from Qolsys, a provider of security and smart home technology for the residential and commercial markets. DSC is a supplier of safety sensors, including PowerG wireless technology that is paired with Qolsys' line of panels. This robust lineup, combined with third-party device support, allows customers to customize a complete, future-proof security solution for any residential or commercial project.
The entire Qolsys panel line easily integrates with the Control4 platform, allowing these products to function as part of a complete, unified smart home system. In addition, Qolsys panels and some DSC sensors use Alarm.com's backend platform for alarm transmission, remote monitoring, and control capabilities. This makes integration and installation simple for integrators who are interested in adding these new brands to their projects.
Qolsys supports the Z-Wave protocol, giving Snap One customers the freedom to integrate a wide range of third-party Z-Wave devices into their security and control solutions, such as door locks, garage door openers, thermostats, and light switches, for a safe and connected smart home experience. With DSC's industrial-grade PowerG 900 MhZ system, customers can access the commercial sector and offer enterprise-grade security solutions for small businesses, department stores, offices, and distribution centers.
"With everything from Z-Wave-enabled security panels, touchscreens, and sensors to high-resolution surveillance cameras, plus a full range of traditional motion, glass breaking, flood, smoke, and CO2 sensors and sirens, our customers have more options to design and implement comprehensive security solutions for residential and commercial environments alike," Choate added. "Remote management and monitoring through Alarm.com further enhance these offerings."
