Alai Secure celebrates its 18th anniversary as an M2M/IoT communications operator

Alai Secure celebra su aniversario 18 como operador de comunicaciones M2M/IoT

International. This year, Alai Secure celebrated 18 years of business life, having an operational presence in several Latin American countries for the last five years.

During this time, the company has positioned itself as a key player in the telecommunications business. Headquartered in Spain, its international expansion began in 2019 in Colombia, on the eve of what was a devastating pandemic. A year later it began operating in Chile. In 2022 it landed in Mexico and in 2023 it planted its flag in Ecuador.

"Since 2019, we have set ourselves the goal of leading the expansion of the IoT M2M business in the region with the premise of developing solutions adapted to the needs of the market and our partners. In these 18 years we have understood that no two projects are the same and the importance of knowing the region well, understanding its strengths and the challenges of each country to offer solutions adapted to each area and market," said Carlos Valenciano, CEO of Alai Secure.

Currently, Alai Secure:
  • In-house deployment with global coverage agreements throughout the continent.
  • It manages more than 180 private security companies and operates more than 350 thousand alarm connections.
  • Pioneers in GPS and POC (Push To Talk Over Cellular) communications.
  • It operates communications for more than 100 thousand elevators.
  • It manages 40% of telecare communications.

Valenciano assured that the company will continue with its initial commitment intact to work closely with customers by bringing M2M/IoT connectivity and helping them to operate their services and compete with guarantees.
