International. Hanwha Vision has unveiled its new cameras, ideal for use in perimeter protection, traffic monitoring, manufacturing, industrial facilities, data centers, solar parks and more.
The TNM-C3620TDR/C3622TDR cameras are compact indoor models and feature QVGA resolution in the thermal lens and 2 MP in the visible sensor, while the TNM-C4940TDR/C4942TDR outdoor models combine 4K video and advanced VGA thermal. The range is designed to deliver sharp images in all lighting scenarios, with AI-powered analytics for accurate object detection and temperature monitoring between -20°C and 130°C.
AI for Accuracy
Outdoor models support AI in thermal and visible sensors, so they can not only detect objects in difficult lighting conditions, such as total darkness, fog, or rain, but also alert operators to potential intrusions, loitering, or other suspicious behavior. Compact indoor models, meanwhile, feature AI in the visible channel.
By ensuring a high degree of accuracy throughout the range, false alarms triggered by irrelevant movements, e.g. wild animals or shadows, are significantly reduced, improving operational efficiency and allowing operators to focus only on actual events. Intelligent video analytics also includes input and output monitoring and virtual line crossing detection.
Monitoringe temperature
Dual-spectrum radiometric AI thermal cameras offer accurate temperature measurements between -20°C and 130°C, making them ideal for industrial applications.
By providing critical data on temperature changes, the cameras can alert operators to potential issues, such as parts overheating or equipment failures, minimizing downtime, enabling proactive maintenance, and improving operational efficiency and safety. Operators can toggle between eight color palettes in the thermal channel to easily review temperature changes and improve visibility of a scene.
Perimeter protection and traffic management
In particular, outdoor models are well suited for perimeter protection and can alert operators to potential boundary violations. The thermal lens can identify potential perimeter violations at different sites by detecting the body heat signal, while the visual lens identifies and classifies objects.
The cameras can also be used to monitor traffic, alerting to stopped traffic that may indicate an accident or congestion on the road. The cameras allow for a high degree of accuracy and fewer false alarms.
Flexible options
The TNM-C3622TDR (indoor model) and TNM-C4942TDR (outdoor model) models operate at 8 fps on the thermal sensor and are therefore excluded from the Wassenaar Arrangement, an export control regime that governs sensitive products, including cameras with frame rates above 9 fps. This simplifies your export and import and therefore results in shorter lead times.
