Hikvision technology used to manage parking lots in Mexico

Usan tecnología de Hikvision para administrar estacionamientos en México

Mexico. Through the integrator Sistemas de Seguridad Electrónica (CICSIS), the Mexican trust Fibra Danhos obtained solutions from Hikvision that have allowed it to increase the performance of the surveillance system in a wide range of security and management applications.

Currently, Fibra Danhos is focused on the development and management of shopping centers, offices and mixed-use projects located in the metropolitan areas of Mexico City and Puebla.

Consequently, the company required a modern surveillance system in each parking lot of the plazas, centers, and commercial parks it manages (Parque Puebla, Tezontle, Antenas, Tepeyac, Lindavista, Magna, Reforma 222, Toreo, Alameda, Vía Vallejo, Magna Polanco, Torre Virreyes and Parque Duraznos), in order to provide high levels of service and establish an optimized and safe parking experience.

Considering the need to comprehensively upgrade its video surveillance system, the trust required full coverage of parking areas and events happening on site, as well as concrete object identification, proactive intrusion deterrent, and exceptional vision, even in low-light conditions or at night.

It was then that since 2015, an approved security system was developed, which expands according to the real estate growth of the trust.

"Security can't wait! As the avant-garde company that we are, we know that with the help of Hikvision's technology and a team of security experts such as CICSIS, customized solutions can be implemented to guarantee maximum security to users, vehicles and the facility itself," said Juan Cárdenas, Director of Parking at Fibra Danhos.

Thanks to the initiative, more than 480 5MP IP cameras, 50 facial access controls, as well as 32, 55 and 65-inch screens, NVRs, switches and facial recognition terminals have been installed in each corridor and common areas of the 14 shopping centers, as well as in the offices, vaults, entrance and exit access pens, internal and external ATMs, parking lot toll boxes, corridors, perimeter areas, bicycle and motorcycle areas, management offices and in the administration of the parking lot.

All these devices were approved in order to have a constant operation.

"This modernization in our security system with Hikvision equipment has left us with great benefits, ranging from obtaining monitoring with focused views with AI, improvement in security efficiency, high quality images, speed, greater productivity, to timely and immediate evidence in cases of accident or theft, always with the specialized accompaniment of CICSIS at each stage of the implementation process," added Salvador Velázquez, manager of Parking at Fibra Danhos.

For his part, Alejandro Ku Ortiz, CICSIS' electronic security specialist, said that working with Fibra Danhos was a professional challenge, as they had to attend to and solve each security need of the trust.

"Our client was very clear that they wanted the best technological integration on the market, with teams that provided excellent support and with an agile and effective response. By assembling this system with Hikvision devices, a solution was created that not only improves top-notch security, but also helps optimize operational efficiency by adapting Artificial Intelligence. The team of professionals at CICSIS will always be committed to safeguarding the investment in each of its properties, guaranteeing its operation 24/7," he concluded.
