Mexico. According to the company, this expansion is an important milestone in consolidating its presence in the country and strengthening the position of the Vertiv brand in the region.
"The new offices in Mexico City will serve as a strategic hub for the company's operations thanks to greater proximity to key business partners, customers and shareholders, not only in Mexico, but also throughout Latin America," said Rafael Garrido, vice president of Vertiv Latin America.
The facility will house several departments, such as Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Operations, along with the administrative division, service delivery and all aspects of technology applications.
Vertiv spokespersons also referred to aspects of design and functionality, specifying that the multiple windows allow natural light to be taken advantage of and create comfortable spaces without the need to incur excessive energy costs. However, they indicated, the central and most prominent element is the IT room, strategically located at the heart of the offices, which offers full visibility and represents the core of operations.
"The 'return to the office' strategy has been a success in São Paulo (Brazil), Medellín (Colombia) and Mexico. At Vertiv, we leverage this momentum to promote greater collaboration and interaction among our employees," said Jessica Garcia, Director of Human Resources at Vertiv Latin America. "This change not only reinforces our commitment to creating an innovative and dynamic work environment, but also our commitment to Mexico as a focal point for innovation and growth in Latin America."
Vertiv already has manufacturing plants in Tijuana, Reynosa and Mexicali, as well as a campus in Monterrey, which manufactures thermal equipment and offers a state-of-the-art testing laboratory. Currently, the brand is making significant investments in manufacturing and design laboratory infrastructure and technology to meet the current and future needs of its customers in the region.
