International. Assa Abloy Global Solutions announced that Alcea will be the flagship brand for its critical infrastructure solutions offering. This French company was acquired by Assa Abloy in 2022 and its roots in security solutions date back to 1995.
"When critical infrastructure, such as energy, water, telecommunications or transport, is disrupted, societies cannot thrive. Alcea is here to protect critical infrastructure around the world and ensure businesses and individuals can continue to feel safe and operate without interruption," said Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of Assa Abloy Global Solutions.
Ordan adds, "Our offering for critical infrastructure has traditionally consisted of solutions provided by Abloy. As part of this change, we are incorporating Abloy solutions under the Alcea brand, which will further strengthen our position and allow us to offer an even wider range of high-quality services to our customers."
Security Solutions
Alcea's offering of digitally optimised security solutions includes access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, keys and video. These customizable solutions, which work as a total security package or as part of an existing setup, are designed to improve both security and operational efficiency.
"As we move towards a future in which nearly 7 out of 10 people will live in cities by 2050[1] and digitalization becomes more widespread, standards for protecting critical infrastructure are becoming more stringent. In a rapidly expanding market, currently valued at more than $136 billion[2], the demand for innovative solutions has never been greater. That's why we must be at the forefront of delivering secure solutions for tomorrow's needs, something we will continue to do under the ALCEA brand," says Jorma Issakainen, Senior Vice President and Head of Critical Infrastructure at Assa Abloy Global Solutions.
