International. The collaboration between Latin American companies SICUR and RISI Technologies with the U.S. manufacturer of secure identity products HID has led to the development of customized solutions and paved the way for state-of-the-art digital environments.
This was made possible by an integration package that includes APIs and the Software Development Kit (SDK) that HID offers to its technology partners, which enables the creation of mobile identity applications for access control through the inclusion of its HID Mobile Access solution.
Because this technology is at the heart of new applications, SICUR and RISI Technologies are now able to offer virtual credentials and overcome the security and convenience barriers of traditional access controls.
Likewise, with the inclusion of the HID Origo portal in the development project, credential management in the cloud is guaranteed, providing flexibility and economy to the companies' portfolio of solutions.
Safety Standards
In the case of Brazilian company SICUR, the need to incorporate a visitor management system with advanced features became a strategic imperative to stay ahead of the curve. The company was looking for a durable and functional solution that could be deployed in a variety of locations.
For its part, RISI Technologies formalized the alliance with HID to develop an access control solution from the cloud, given that the company was looking to venture into the field of access control and required a technological partner that would allow it to guarantee secure, agile and modern results.
"We value the collaboration with innovative companies such as RISI Technologies and SICUR, who simplify our technology through automated processes, creating solutions beyond access control", said Alejandro Espinosa, HID's Director of Access Control Sales for Mexico.
Both projects have resulted in results in the transformation of access control. Puglinbot and SICUR's Global Pass app, for example, has taken visitor management to another level, offering advanced features such as mobile access, self-check-in, and automatic, secure identity creation.
On the other hand, HID and RISI Technologies are currently working on the implementation of this technology at one of the largest universities in Mexico to integrate a system intended to supervise and manage the activities of students and staff.
This system aims to allow you to access the facilities, use the library service, enter the gym and sports areas with the same mobile ID. In addition, they plan to extend it to loyalty programs based on the digital identity of students and staff.
"At HID we have our doors open to those who wish to carry out innovative projects such as these two companies. We are committed to expanding business opportunities, increasing market share, and accelerating revenue growth together, with program levels that accommodate different stages of integration and a wide range of benefits such as early access to technology, training in new roles, and accreditations", concluded Alejandro Espinosa.
