Mexico. Eaton reported that it undertook a project to expand its facilities and increase its production capacity by 50%.
The company also announced the creation of 300 new jobs thanks to the initiative. Physical work will begin early next year.

We are thrilled to expand our operations to meet the growing demand from electric utilities across the Americas", he added.
About the project
To increase production of its underground protective connectors, Eaton will expand its facility in Querétaro by 28,194 square meters and add new injection presses and manufacturing equipment. The plant currently produces equipment for underground power lines such as lightning switches and connectors.
With this new investment of US $85 million, Eaton adds an estimated US $750 million in recent investments in North America and increases the supply of transformers, voltage regulators and electrical assemblies including substations, control panels and switches.
