Axis Communications appoints new executives for Latin America

Latin America. The manufacturer of network video solutions announced the hiring of four new talents for its communications and marketing team in Latin America.

With a strategy called "Stronger than ever", the adoption of new talent means a greater presence and consolidation of the company Axis Communications in the region, with the aim of opening new business opportunities and enhancing existing ones.

"The hires reflect Axis' commitment to selecting the best talent to strengthen our operations, delivering cutting-edge solutions to all our customers and partners, as part of our strategy to be stronger than ever," said Leopoldo Ruiz, Regional Director for Latin America at Axis Communications.

The New Executives
The company's Marketing and Communication team announced the incorporation of Paulo Canova, who has a degree in Communication and Marketing from leading universities such as Mackenzie, ESPM, FGV and UCLA.

Canova joins the company as Senior Marketing Coordinator for Events and Trade Exhibitions for Latin America. Previously, he has collaborated for communication agencies, serving clients such as Globosat, Infoglobo, SporTV and Globoplay. She has also coordinated communication strategies in Latin America for international companies, most recently at Argo Solutions.

For her part, Carla Mayerhofer assumes the position of Senior Marketing Coordinator for Latin America. With a degree in Communication, Marketing and an MBA in Finance, she has 17 years of experience in large multinationals, most recently with the world's largest bearing manufacturer, Sweden's SKF. At Axis, he will use his marketing and data insights to further develop the brand in the region.

For the position of Senior Channel Marketing Coordinator, Vanessa Prada, a Social Communicator graduated from the Universidad Santo Tomás and specialized in Marketing Management from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, joins the team. He has more than 12 years of experience focused on the development of market strategies dedicated to brand awareness, demand generation, customer experience and sales training. His goal is to continue positioning Axis Communications as the preferred brand for the company's distributors in Latin America by implementing sales strategies in the region.

Finally, Fernanda García joins the team as Senior Marketing, Communication and Public Relations Coordinator for Latin America. With 10 years of experience in this sector, she has collaborated for communication agencies such as Hill & Knowlton Strategies and JeffreyGroup as an Account Supervisor for companies such as Uber, PepsiCo Mexico and Latam, as well as the Chamber of Commerce in Mexico. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and holds certifications in Economics and Foreign Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and another in Corporate Communication from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
