Winsted presents all the new features of its new console for control rooms

Windsted

International. Winsted unveiled a new console designed for control rooms called Pinnacle, with design innovations, cable management, connectivity options, built-in convenience ports and outputs, Qi wireless charging, combination of monitor arms and work lights, personal ambient comfort system and status lighting options.

"Winsted is thrilled to offer operators the pinnacle of control room console design," said Tracy Crocker, CEO of Winsted. "The technology and serviceability features make Pinnacle the optimal choice for any control room. Control room furniture hasn't evolved much in the last decade. Winsted aimed to change that by developing a console that uses cutting-edge technology to solve operators' biggest workspace challenges."

Key features of the Pinnacle console include:

  • Features a cable management tray large enough to hold small electronic devices and Micro PCs.
  • Features built-in AC power and a wide range of AV and network connectivity, such as fiber optic and Ethernet patches, USB connections, video connections, audio patch connections, and built-in USB-C power with 45 watts per union, all of which are fully custom-configured to support any mission.
  • Pinnacle is designed with cable management in mind. Using a three-tier design. It also features dedicated space and power outlets for console service devices. Everything needed to run the console system is hidden and separated from customer cables and devices.
  • Pinnacle also features a full-length Versa Track rail for mounting many available console accessories, such as monitor arms, work lighting, and an operator cooling fan, to name a few.
  • A flush-mounted, pop-up convenience connectivity module is available for wired charging or convenience connections. Built-in wireless Qi charging keeps the work surface free of wires, while charging operators' smartphones via Pinnacle's surface-integrated induction charging system.
