International. HID has just introduced three new models of LinTRAK ultra-high frequency (UHF) Rain RFID tags.
Thus, HID now has six tags in its LinTRAK portfolio, designed to identify and track laundry and textile assets used in the hotel business, hospital and retail sectors. The design of the new tags allows them to be seamlessly integrated into clothing, without compromising their durability in the most demanding environments
Compact size and strength
The LinTRAK C10S is 20% smaller than its predecessor, offering an optimal size-to-read distance ratio. The LinTRAK C15S features a 5-millimeter zone above the chip to facilitate the sewing process and was designed to meet the needs of linen manufacturers.
These products have the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification (level 1), thanks to their usability in all types of MRI systems, which makes them suitable for medical environments.
Finally, the LinTRAK C15SH can be bonded directly to clothing by heat sealing, without losing functionality. According to the manufacturer, it is the smallest washable and heat-sealable UHF RFID tag on the market.
