International. The company Milestone Systems reported that during the first quarter of 2024 it will launch its new Milestone Kite Camera to Cloud implementation.
Thanks to this new development, the VSaaS Milestone Kite solution integrates with a series of Axis cameras, which have Axis Object Analytics technology based on Artificial Intelligence.
All data processing, video recording and storage are carried out on these same cameras, which are connected directly to the Milestone Kite cloud. Not only does this reduce the bandwidth load and associated costs, but it also lowers installation and maintenance expenses.
"The combination of ease of use and cost efficiency makes Milestone Kite Camera to Cloud an ideal alternative for organizations that have smaller or newly built locations, or those where a gateway is not feasible," said Jesper Just Jensen, vice president of products at Milestone Systems.
Solution Management with Gateways
Companies that already use Milestone Kite with gateways have the ability to expand their operations to new locations through the Camera to Cloud option. The new sites will be recognized and managed as part of the same Kite service used in the gateway deployments.
The inclusion of this alternative increases Milestone Kite's advantages in projects with different budgets and bandwidth capacities. This makes Camera to Cloud a suitable choice for multi-site organizations in the retail, hospitality, and education sectors.
