International. After closing 2022 with historical indicators, Axis Communications reported a record volume of shipments during the first half of 2023. The announcement took place during the Axis Converge & Connect Conference (ACCC), an event that brought together the channel's main partners in Kansas City.
The company reported that it resumed standard delivery times, with an average of two weeks on 94% of its products, registering a high volume of units shipped and an unprecedented inventory in distribution during 2023. In the same period it has presented 108 new products and solutions, anticipating more launches before the end of the year.
Axis' current good momentum is preceded by last year's more than satisfactory close, during which the company's worldwide revenue was about US$1,600, representing a global year-on-year increase of 20%.
"Not only did we have a banner year in 2022, but we are also achieving extraordinary results with our investment in operations and supply chain, both of which are helping to accelerate growth," said Fredrik Nilsson, vice president, Americas, Axis Communications.
Likewise, the executive indicated that they will continue to invest in research and development, allocating approximately 15% of their annual income to these areas and increasing their team of engineers to more than 2000 professionals. "Our commitment to R+D, together with the strengthening of our operations, allows us to move full steam ahead in terms of innovations," he said.

The developments to come
Axis has plans to introduce brand innovations, new product features and regular updates in order to deliver more advanced solutions and greater value to its customers.
In addition, it plans to increase the number of its Experience Centers in the Americas. There are currently 16 of them and the last one opened in August 2023 in Cincinnati.

"We are very proud of our achievements and confident in our ability to meet the changing needs of our customers. While we launched many new tools to facilitate our efforts, what I'm most excited about is hearing directly from our partners at events like the ACCC," said Jeanette Skjelmose, Vice President of Operations at Axis Communications.
