International. Moving from incident response to the investigation phase through a single interface is already possible with the integration just presented by the company Genetec.
In this way, users can carry out an exchange of data and reports between the digital decision management system Mission Control and the solution for digital evidence management, Clearance.
"We are simplifying the process for initiating an investigation after an incident and this efficiency allows our customers to do more with their systems and the information they collect, while leveraging existing technology to achieve their business goals," said Erick Ceresato, group director of Products at Genetec Inc.
More agile responses
With the integration, all cameras linked to an event can be exported in a single action to a case in Clearance. This reduces the time operators spend documenting and creating a synopsis of an incident and helps ensure that the cameras that captured the event are not lost.
Once uploaded to Clearance, recordings can be stored based on the retention period defined by the nature of the incident and the organization's business policy.
The importance of documentary reports
Mission Control's incident report is also retained as part of the case, allowing organizations to demonstrate policy compliance when handling an event, as all incident-related actions are documented in the report.
Like video exports, these reports can be shared with other parties or used internally for auditing purposes.
Free trials and additional information
Organizations can request free trials of Clearance and Mission Control from Genetec certified partners. More information is available on the company's official website.
