The ESS+ Fair broke its own attendance record

ESS+

Colombia. A more than positive balance delivered by the organizers of the 29th edition of the International Security Fair ESS+, an event that this year registered an expansion of its surface equivalent to 15% to accommodate 14,040 attendees, as well as 300 exhibitors from 36 countries.

Similarly, the organizers announced the surpassing of the historical record of attendance at the Corferias venue, which last year had 12,161 visitors.

"This edition culminates as a historic milestone in which the professionals of the guild have reaffirmed that this space is the meeting point par excellence of the sector. The show demonstrates its relevance as the stage chosen by companies to present their launches and attract a highly qualified audience. This dynamic of business generation translates into a constant pace of renewal, with several companies interested in expanding their presence for the next edition," said Patricia Acosta, director of the ESS+ 2023.

The show, organized by PAYFC and Corferias, brought together in its commercial sample the most outstanding brands of the security industry, consolidating itself as a relevant epicenter of the sector in the region.

"The technologies and advances we have witnessed are moving us towards more modern and reliable environments. Without a doubt, we will get better protected cities. We thank all those who took part, because they bring us even closer to the realization of our philosophy and value proposition, focused on preventing insecurity instead of reacting to it," added Patricia Acosta.

Thematic and academic offer
For three days, some of the topics that were in vogue on the occasion of the ESS+ were digitalization, artificial intelligence, automation and access control, analytics, the Internet of things, smart cities and cybersecurity.

The academic spaces hosted 60 conferences and panels led by experts and professionals of the guild who addressed topics such as security, technology and cutting-edge solutions. The agenda was developed in verticals such as transport, financial, oil, ports and airports, commerce and retail.

Parallel to the agenda of the event, the show was the stage for about 70 academic events such as Looking in the future, Hackers vs devices, Business Innovation Private Sector, Technological Capsules ESS+ 2023 Fair, Smartcities & Big Data Forum Conversation and the Aso Intermediate Forum.

Likewise, the Cybersecurity Forum was attended by more than 25 experts from around the world, who shared their knowledge and worked hand in hand with the attendees to optimize the industry.

All these events took place in ten spaces organized throughout Hall 17.

Ventas de Seguridad at ESS+
As a reference publication in the industry, Ventas de Seguridad magazine was also part of the ESS+ International Security Fair. In this way, stand 1329 of the main pavilion of Corferias became the place for executives of the exhibiting brands to discuss their participation in the event, the solutions they presented in Bogotá and the most relevant current perspectives for the sector.

Additionally, the general public had the opportunity to interact with the editorial and commercial team of Ventas de Seguridad, while receiving free copies of the magazine.
