Anviz provides contactless security to 100 health centers

Anviz provee seguridad sin contacto a 100 centros de salud

Mexico. A hundred health centers have benefited thanks to the update of their access control systems and contactless assistance, recently carried out by Anviz Global in collaboration with the integrating company Comercializadora GaMart.

"Our goal is to reduce the cost of employee attendance and access management by 50%, and reduce traditional cards by 15%, saving more than $1 million per year for the Ministry," says Felix Fu, product manager at Anviz.

This initiative is preceded by the installation, during November 2022, of 140 FaceDeep 3 biometric devices, of the Anviz brand in health institutions located in different states, such as Coahuila.

At that time, Mexican authorities explained that the measure sought to guarantee the safety of people, goods and data, just as the country was facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, contactless interaction in public places has become increasingly important, especially in crowded places such as hospitals.

About FaceDeep 3
This AI-based facial recognition terminal is equipped with a Linux-based dual-core CPU and the BioNANO deep learning algorithm. It supports the registration of up to 6,000 dynamic faces and recognizes users at a distance of up to 2 meters, in less than 0.3 seconds. In addition, the device allows you to customize alerts and generate a variety of reports, including the use of face masks.

The AI-based live face detection technique makes the hospital admission process more accurate and resistant to fraud, by repelling different types of attack vectors. Among the improvements attributed to Anviz FaceDeep 3 are the following:

  • Reduction of waiting time at hospital entrances, during peak hours.
  • Increased patient protection and employee safety.
  • Increased security in the physical access control of companies, since the contactless facial recognition system reduces the risk of contagion of viral conditions and rejects unauthorized access.

Optimizing Management with CrossChex Cloud
Around 1,000 doctors and nurses located in different Mexican regions are already registering daily attendance at their jobs, using CrossChex Cloud software, created by Anviz.

According to the manufacturer, CrossChex Cloud administrators can manage the program in an agile and remote way, thanks to the possibilities offered by the cloud. Other benefits of CrossChex Cloud are:

  • 100% free management software, no license fees or monthly costs.
  • Management flexibility, at any time and from anywhere.
  • Computers from different branches controlled from a single account.
  • System via web browser, without limitation of operating system or local installation.
  • Employee registration via physical equipment and mobile app.
