Mexico. More than 60 Mexican educational institutions will benefit thanks to the linking agreement that Dahua Technology has just signed with the Semper Altius School Network and the Anahuac High School Network, present in several cities in the country.
This agreement includes the installation of some 2,500 security cameras in school environments, with the aim of reinforcing the so-called Video Surveillance Policy, launched in May of this year.
Leo An, CEO of Dahua Technology Mexico, assures that this type of initiative is consistent with the philosophy of his company, focused on building smart cities and safer societies.
"We are very pleased to participate in the Video Surveillance Policy, as our mission is to improve people's lives through technology and innovation. Our portfolio includes packages such as Safe School and Smart Classroom, which adapt very well to the needs of the education sector and are flexible enough to provide an excellent cost-benefit ratio," he says.
Safety is a priority
The participants of the agreement hope to improve the levels of security in the establishments, offering greater protection to students and teachers, as well as administrative staff and other people who make use of these spaces.

In this regard, the executive director of the Semper Altius Network of Schools and the Anahuac High School Network, Elena Bustillos, said that "we developed a policy of safe environments because safety is our priority. In Dahua Technology we find solutions such as facial recognition devices, identification of vehicle plates, elimination of blind spots and motion detectors. Thanks to these tools, we will be able to protect more than 40,000 people linked to our schools."
