Colombia. Alai Secure's M2M/IoT technology has been installed in UTV -Utility Task Vehicle, from MUB, a Colombian company that was born in Medellín in 2020 and specializes in the design and manufacture of intelligent and environmentally friendly industrial vehicles.
This Alai Secure solution offers guaranteed average mobile coverage and allows all telematics parameters of the vehicle and its surroundings to be transmitted with guarantees.
Its vehicles have been designed to facilitate internal and last-mile mobility of those companies that have very extensive locations, need to transport heavy loads in industrial parks or need to make deliveries or last-mile collections – a term that defines the last part of the delivery process of an order to the end customer. The MUB team designs, manufactures and customizes the vehicle according to the needs of its customers with the aim of helping companies improve the productivity of their transport, internal and last mile logistics.
The new MUB vehicles are equipped with a sensorization system to collect information on consumption parameters and the vehicle's environment itself. MUB has counted on Alai's M2M/IoT communications technology for these new models. Its new multi-operator Global SIM allows to transmit, in real time and regardless of its location, all the telemetry information between the vehicle and the MUB Platform for subsequent analysis and consultation by its customers through the web or its mobile App.
MUB offers its customers a telemetry system to know, in real time, vehicle behavior parameters such as location, state of charge, battery temperature, driving routes and modes, speed, etc.
This information allows all the actors involved to have greater control of the vehicle and have detailed information in real time to: improve the productivity and efficiency of your company in a sustainable way, know the behavior of the vehicle for subsequent maintenance work and be able to predict possible breakdowns or to have a control of the asset that was not previously had.
Alai Secure's M2M/IoT technology also allows MUB to remotely control the park of SIMs, through its Self-Management Platform and offer guaranteed average coverage in all locations.
