MOBOTIX announced the re-election of its CEO and CFO, and the expansion of its executive board

International. MOBOTIX AG shared the names of its new Board of Directors, Thomas Lausten (CEO) and Klaus Kiener (CFO), who were re-elected for this period, as well as Christian Cabirol (CTO) and Phillip Antoniou (CSMO, i.e. Director of Sales and Marketing), the latter as a new addition.

This new Board of Management, which will work from 1 May 2023, will focus on further development and innovation at MOBOTIX "based on accelerated business and product strategies that recently increased sales by 27% during the first half of the 2022/2023 business year ending 31 March."

According to the company, the new board "will drive MOBOTIX's technological and sales developments based on the original DNA focused on German quality and cybersecurity."

MOBOTIX also emphasized the potential of the market, pointing out that video technology has grown beyond pure surveillance services, as artificial intelligence and deep learning, in addition to data collection and analysis, are providing new opportunities for growth in security, but also for customer analysis and production processes.

"The market potential in video solutions will experience even stronger growth over the next few years, as value and efficiency will increase by combining hardware and AI solutions that analyze data directly rather than just observe."

Overall, the company shared details of some of the appointments.

Thomas Lausten

Thomas Lausten to remain CEO
On 20 April 2023, the Supervisory Board reappointed Thomas Lausten as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MOBOTIX AG for a further two years. Lausten has been at the helm of MOBOTIX AG since June 15, 2017 and has driven the transformation of MOBOTIX AG over the past few years by increasingly focusing on product development and market expansion, especially in DACH, Europe and the USA, while refocusing on the APAC markets. The goal over the next few years will be to increase the speed of product innovation and investments to ensure a stronger global presence in selected geographic and vertical markets.

Klaus Kiener

Klaus Kiener re-elected as Chief Financial Officer
The Supervisory Board has also reappointed Klaus Kiener as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a further two years. Kiener has worked for MOBOTIX AG since April 2016 with a strong focus on Finance, Corporate Planning, Investor Relations, Legal/Compliance/Data Protection, Organization, Quality Management, IT Services and Logistics/Customs.

Phillip Antoniou, new Director of Sales and Marketing at CSMO
As of May 1, 2023, Phillip Antoniou joins the Board of Management of MOBOTIX AG as the fourth member in his new role as Head of Sales and Marketing (CSMO).
