Hanwha Techwin's thermal range has new low frame rate cameras

Hanwha Techwin cámaras de baja frecuencia de imagen

International. Hanwha Techwin Europe, added three new thermal cameras to the Wisenet T range, the TNO-L3030T, TNO-L4030T and TNO-L4030TR models. These devices have a low frame rate of 8 fps.

The aforementioned low frame rate means that these cameras are not subject to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 or the Wassenaar Arrangement and, therefore, are not classified as "military use", which allows the manufacturer a very fast delivery time.

In addition, these cameras come with a maximum resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and an integrated 13.7/13mm fixed lens. However, the brand has ensured that "thermal cameras provide clear detection day and night, and also allow visual monitoring of the temperature of scenes with vivid color palettes and on-screen visualizations.

These devices are, according to the brand, "ideal for industrial facilities, manufacturing environments, airports and seaports, and mining areas. The devices work in complex climates, such as fog, smoke and rain, and in different lighting conditions, including total darkness and backlit zones."

In addition, the images are high contrast to clearly show temperature differences between an object and a background, so that users can more easily detect incidents. This helps make invisible details visible without additional lighting.

According to Hanwha "Wisenet thermal cameras provide seven different types of color palettes that offer flexibility to choose the best image for different scenarios. With these features, operators can easily protect a wide variety of environments from security risks and intruders. Faults in industrial environments and incidents involving extreme temperatures can be quickly detected."

Thermal cameras include camera-based audio and video analytics for greater operational efficiency and situational awareness. Sound rating, based on the frequency of a sound source, can alert operators when an abnormal sound, such as a scream or possible aggression, is detected.

Finally, it is relevant to understand that motion detection events, (dis)appearance, entry / exit of a zone or virtual line, send an alert when objects enter and move through a defined space. Therefore, these cameras "can also detect possible manipulations and have shock detection." Loitering detection also makes it possible to identify objects abandoned in an area for an unusual time.

The TNO-L3030T, TNO-L4030T and TNO-L4030TR include Hallway View and WiseStreamII compression technology.
