International. The SecurOS UVSS units, of the ISS (Intelligent Security Systems) brand, provide advanced detection of explosives and contraband hidden under vehicles in Qatar, contributing to the protection of the various venues of the 2022 World Cup.
In partnership with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), systems integrator Gulf Networks Security Solutions and an on-site technical team, ISS installed 40 UVSS units at vehicle checkpoints, for eight stadiums in and around Doha, along with three logistics areas and a fan zone.

These facilities are intended to protect visitors attending the World Cup, as well as make the process of checking cars safer, faster and more efficient, thanks to the fact that the bottom of the cars can be displayed directly on a screen.
The advantages of UVSS devices are that they are portable, can be easily installed and disassembled with minimal damage to roads.
Its operation is that while the vehicle passes, the undercarriage is scanned, allowing security personnel to discard strange and potentially dangerous elements, in just three seconds. Thus eliminating the need for manual searches that require more time.
Other features and added value
These units are also powered by NVIDIA's GPU technology, so they can be connected to another ISS license plate recognition (LPR) solution, to track vehicles entering and leaving.

Notably, these safety devices feature other features, such as magnetic and visual suspicion maps, sliding zoom, and 3D magnifier, which allow users to quickly find any potential threats that may be at the bottom of a vehicle.
