Bosch presents the Autodome 7000 family

altLatin America. Bosch Security Systems introduces the Autodome 7000 PTZ family of cameras with intelligent functions that are an important asset for security surveillance. Autodome 7000 outperforms other mobile cameras to offer customers a powerful automated monitoring system that ensures security risks are not ignored.

Bosch's built-in Intelligent Video Analysis (VAT) software automatically processes video signals and alerts operators to security risks. A single Autodome PTZ camera can analyze up to 10 different scenes for criteria of crossing lines, vagrancy etc. Customizable to address specific customer concerns, IVA enables early threat detection, and improves overall security.

Bosch's unique Intelligent Tracking technology uses advanced flow detection algorithms to monitor motion scenes and automatically track objects. Customers can define conditions that will instantly trigger tracking such as that of a car moving to an area in a specific direction. Now, operators can activate tracking by clicking on the moving target within the live video to ask the camera to keep it in the scene. The camera dynamically tunes the zoom settings to capture the most useful and highly detailed images of objects of interest as they move through the camera's display field.

The Autodome 7000 family sets a new benchmark for intelligent tracking algorithms, as it resumes tracking after the target passes behind a privacy mask or if it is temporarily hidden behind a fixed object – even when sound is present or when trees sway. Autodome continuously follows the target when it reappears or if motion is detected along the same path – ensuring that its activities are always captured.

Autodome 7000 brings images to a higher level with greater sharpness, more accurate color reproduction and more detailed low-light images. The standard definition of an IP camera offers a zoom of 28x or 36x and the HD camera provides a resolution of 1080p, 30 images per second (IPS) and a zoom of 20x. The HD camera also supports a high-speed 720p resolution at 60 IPS to capture fine details of fast-moving objects in traffic surveillance, city, game centers, toll plazas, gas stations and similar applications.

Designed using the latest version of Bosch's CPP4 firmware, the camera supports four simultaneous video streams for live monitoring and recording using up to four independent and configurable connections. While customers can record and monitor in HD resolution, the camera can also provide reduced resolutions for bandwidth-friendly remote viewing.  The new firmware provides a common software platform for many IP camera models, making installation and maintenance of Bosch systems easier.

The camera also supports cutting-edge recording in combination with central storage for dependent performance. With up to two terabytes of storage via SDXC or 32 gigabytes with SDHC, the cards can be used for local or short-term alarm recording.

Autodome 7000 is easy to use and install. It comes with 5 pre-configured settings to capture optimal image quality in the most common applications and 256 predefined positions for a display of critical areas monitored at the touch of a button. The finished and color-coded wiring with a system of quick connection between the camera and the assembly makes the installation of the Autodomes faster and simpler than other PTZ domes. And a fiber optic kit includes a media converter module installed directly inside the power source box.

Standard and high-definition IP cameras, encoders and analytics work simultaneously with a wide range of software and security recording solutions from Bosch and other video management system providers.

The Autodome 7000 family includes indoor and outdoor cameras with extended operation of the temperature range from -40 to +55 degrees Celsius (-40 to +131 degrees Fahrenheit). The rugged aluminum housing is rated between IP66 and NEMA4X for uncompromising operation even in dustier or wet environments – ensuring years of reliable performance. In addition, Autodome's power source design supports simultaneous use of 24VAC and High Energy over Ethernet (HPoE) for continuous coverage. If one power source fails, the other takes over perfectly without having to go through a restart cycle.
