Latin America. Bolide Technology Group introduced its new BodyCam (body camera) BV-BCAM2, designed to operate efficiently and economically and with intelligent operating features.
The camera has a built-in SOS button that allows the transmission of live audio and video directly to the central manager for immediate assistance when an emergency or fortuitous event occurs.
This device is 9.1cm high, 5.7cm wide, 2.5cm thick and 160g in weight, Android 7.1 system, 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built-in. It features a camera with 4K quality audio and video capture and recording at 30fps, live video streaming to allow the central to see what is happening at the officer's location, real-time GPS location tracking, a 2.4" rear touchscreen and a Push-to-Talk button that connects the user directly with other officers.
Bolide confirms that this equipment meets IP68 protection standards (resistance against dust, water (including immersion up to 30 minutes) and shock resistant of 2 meters high) and offers up to 12 hours of continuous operation on a single battery charge.
In addition, the BodyCam BV-BCAM2 captures a real view of what's happening thanks to its 130-degree wide-angle lens and built-in high-quality microphone. Audio and video is recorded in SD memory up to 128GB and can be streamed live over the 4G wireless network.
The BV-BCAM2 comes with built-in night vision to capture detailed videos in low-light conditions. It also has a laser light on the front surface of the equipment to alert the public that they are being recorded or show other officers where the suspect is and thanks to its Artificial Intelligence algorithm supports Facial Recognition and License Plate Recognition.
