False. Zoom priority mode, available with selected Dahua PDZs, provides optimal IR coverage in any zoom setting. The camera has different sets of built-in IR illuminators that turn on and off depending on whether the camera is in wide-angle or extended mode. This gives you uniform illumination at wide angles and reduced power at narrow angles.

Automatic tracking. This feature, available on Dahua's AI PTZ cameras of 5" and above, allows the PTZ to detect a moving target and automatically follow it throughout the camera's range of motion. This capability can be further enhanced by activating the IVS function on the PTZ, which will activate it to track a target as it crosses a particular demarcation area. * What does EIS mean and what does it do?
Electronic Image Stabilization counteracts some of the vibration, and the accompanying blur, inherent in a windy environment or a location with nearby traffic. EIS provides a more stable field of view and expands mounting options, as the PTZ can be installed on a pole or hanging formation without being unduly affected by vibration. Plus, with less camera shake, it saves bandwidth and storage space!
In addition, other PTZ cameras are also equipped with OIS or optical image stabilization. This hardware solution does not require image cropping as it uses the full sensor reading to capture images. It helps reduce image distortion and produces more natural videos that are significantly better than EIS.
