Latin America. Miami will host the tenth Cumbre of the Latin American Security Association - ALAS to be held from September 8 to 9. With the motto "The meeting point of security leaders", the Association dedicated to bringing together the main actors of security technologies, will inspire the businesses of the future, looking at the present and sharing experiences of a region in full growth.
As the only summit with regional reach, leaders from all Latin American countries will be present at what is the most important forum to address the challenges and opportunities shared by the countries of this continent. The Summit marks the return after a 2-year recess generated by the pandemic and a celebration of 25 years of life of an institution that does not stop growing.
It is a fact that electronic security does not stop its growth; approximately 55% of the world's population lives in urban areas while in Latin America and the Caribbean this percentage is much higher (about 80%). This has caused cities to spread far and wide expanding their traditional geographical boundaries. In fact, Latin America has several mega cities of more than 10 million inhabitants. This excessive growth of recent decades is very difficult to contain and has made electronic security systems at the forefront of technology constantly evolving every year. This summit supported by the hand of experts in topics such as cybersecurity, digital transformation, Latino market, monitoring, drones, among many others, aims to provide effective tools to professionals who meet to exchange experiences, strengthen ties and of course, do business.
The organization of the event will be focused on 2 intensive days of academic conferences in parallel halls and commercial exhibition, which will allow attendees to live a unique experience with world-class brands that will be exhibiting their main solutions and technologies and allowing the updating of those who are touring the exhibition hall.
The ALAS awards will also be part of the event, promoting the recognition of the best security projects in Latin America from the public and private sectors and personalities of the industry and their careers contributing to security for years.
