He indicated that Motorola forecasts this year with great optimism: "The pandemic has not stopped, but the requirements of communication technology continue; customers require effective and secure solutions."

Alejandro also recalled that this company invests US$600 million annually in the development of new technologies to face the challenges presented by specific problems. "We are 100% committed to customers to continue promoting the best projects for Mexico with the development of technology."

On the other hand, Alejandro Rodríguez Quintero (main photo), Regional Sales Director for Mexico of Pelco, indicated that this purchase allows to offer a more robust portfolio to its thousands of business customers.

He recalled that this company has had a presence in Mexico for 30 years. Its customers have trusted in its solutions, they know about its technology and service: "We have invested to have a level of excellence in the attention of those who trust us".

Pelco has robust solutions for all sectors, from oil and gas, mining sector, strategic facilities, shops, hospitals and retail market, among others. "Our PTZ cameras are a global benchmark that allows us to serve multiple markets, our customers invest in equipment and solutions that do not cause headaches within a few months of acquiring them."

"Unfortunately there are disposable products on the market, which have to be bought back. However, Pelco's philosophy is to offer reliable solutions to have products operating for up to more than a decade," Alejandro added.

Challenge in the face of the pandemic
When talking about how his teams have contributed to counteract the effects of the pandemic, Eng. Rodríguez indicated that his technologies played an important role in preventing the spread of Covid-19, through their systems that allow the counting of people in facilities, so as not to exceed the quota that the authorities marked, as well as the distance that people must maintain.

"In our video analytics it was possible to observe the measurement of temperature in the skin of people, as well as the detection of the proper placement of masks among workers to protect themselves and others."

Likewise, the Regional Sales Director for Mexico said that they are very happy, "because every time we visit or talk to the integrators and say that Pelco is part of Motorola gives them greater confidence, it is a great commitment, but we know that the investments made by Motorola in the development of new technologies will be part of Pelco's strengths for 2021".

When talking about his product line, he indicated that they are on the way: "Every two months we will release new products with video management that will innovate the market."

For this brand, image quality is not optional, "both governments and companies are looking for technologies such as Sarix and Spectra de Pelco, which will always have quality in the image".

Artificial intelligence is also sought, which prevents monitors from losing important details when they have dozens of cameras in front of them, "this technology allows to detect a critical point that indicates when there is something out of the ordinary and has to be observed".

Finally, Alejandro Rodríguez said that it is important that law enforcement and reaction forces have the best communication tools to function better: "That they have the best image and communication in cases of natural disasters or critical missions, combining the technology of Pelco and Motorola causes enthusiasm among our integrators and customers, which makes a great differentiator. We're back!"
