Argentina. AirLive, an internationally recognized provider of wireless equipment and networks with a vast history in the video surveillance market, is preparing to reaffirm its presence in the high-power wireless market, and increase its offer in network video surveillance solutions during 2016. Adrián Bongioanni, Sales Manager for Latin America, explains the main novelties of the brand.
"One of the products that has aroused great interest among our current and potential customers is the new SmartCube 300W IP camera. This 3 megapixel wireless cube camera is the great novelty of AirLive for this year. It incorporates intelligent functions and a PIR sensor that allow implementing a video surveillance system with services such as electronic fencing (e-fence) to configure restricted areas, temperature and humidity control, people counting and bidirectional audio, among others. This camera is ideal for retailers, stores and businesses that need to automate some management functions of their facilities. Due to its capabilities, it becomes a true 24x7 assistant. It is even possible to access through an APP," explains Bongioanni.
How is the offer composed for the security and video surveillance market?
At the product level, the brand has made a great focus in 2015 on video surveillance, with innovative cameras with 5 megapixel fisheye. These are cameras that allow a 360º vision, with a lens that delivers a vision in sphere, it can even be configured to see 3 or 4 boxes in HD quality. While there are cameras of this type on the market, with such a high resolution they are scarce.
Another of the innovations that we have presented are the 3 megapixel bullet cameras with motorized zoom, which allow to adapt the focus from the web configuration of the camera, without the need to be like the classic manual focus cameras, which require a person to approach the camera and regulate the focus manually.
What are the commercial alliances that you will maintain and add during this year in the distribution channel?
The company is focusing on growing together with its wholesale partners to achieve greater capillarity throughout the security, video surveillance, and CCTV market. Since January we have had good news, so we expect a very prosperous 2016. In a month and after a great job done during the past year, we have opened doors of distributors of great penetration in Argentina so that they can market our IP cameras, PoE switches, in addition to our wireless lines for indoor and outdoor.
For the Argentine security market, this year we incorporated ARG Seguridad, in addition to the extensive work time we have with Dialer Seguridad. It is worth noting that we continue to develop business models together with more partners in the country.
With regard to ARG Seguridad we are very satisfied with this new alliance. We know its potential within the security market in Argentina.
But we have good expectations with all our business partners and we believe that, without a doubt, it will be very successful for everyone.
At the regional level we are also achieving good societies. In Chile we have resumed a relationship of several years of business with Artilec, the main distributor at the level of security in the country.
We continue to work hand in hand with Distriwave for large-scale projects on the same lands.
Within Bolivia we are aiming to grow together with DSS, the number 1 distributor in the field of security.
And in addition to this with a very good projection for the other countries of the region, where we already have a presence, and we are in the race to approach the best distributors in the field with a very aggressive proposal in costs, added to high quality solutions.
What's new in switches and high-power wireless?
AirLive will introduce new advanced switching solutions with graphical mapping of surveillance, VLAN, SNMP, PoE and fiber transmission topologies, in addition to the latest technological advances.
Undoubtedly, our PoE switches will continue to be one of the lines that will accompany most of our projects. But at the same time AirLive has launched the new switches for industrial applications.
Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet for mission-critical solutions, with exclusive features in the connectivity segment.
Specially designed to withstand harsh environments and ensure continuity of power supply, the line includes the IG-642POE, IE-541POE, IE-840POE and IG-602 models.
