International. Connected Security Expo @ ISC West, funded by SIA, announced the conference's advisory board, which is working closely with event management to create unique and timely content for the first version of the fair in April.
Connected Security Expo is an event focused primarily on educational conferences that will take place in conjunction with ISC West (April 6-8, 2016 at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas). It is the only event in the industry that strives to build a holistic security strategy for the connected enterprise, which includes, among other things, ways to jointly use physical and information security to mitigate new and emerging cyber threats in a hyperconnected world.
The content advisory board of connected security expo includes:
• Jeremy Brecher, Vice President of Electronic Security Technology, Diebold, Inc.
Mr. Brecher led U.S. operations and the information technology group of Diebold Enterprise Security. He coordinated numerous large-scale conversions of national and global electronic security systems and new facilities for Fortune 500 companies in different sectors, including construction, transportation and commercial. Jeremy is director of SIA's subcommittee for cloud, mobility and the internet of things, which explores the impact cloud and mobility has on physical security and is dedicated to developing standards for cloud and mobility for the industry. Possible areas for standardization include a cloud security reference model and a common framework for creating cloud sessions for physical security products.

Mr. Adams is a member of the Ponemon Institute and founded the Application Security Industry Consortium, Inc. (AppSIC), a non-profit association of industry analysts, business technologists, and security leaders created to define security parameters for applications in various industries and best practices, which later became SAFECode. Ed is also involved in other industry initiatives, including the open source project OWASP. He serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Information Security Groups (NAISG) and the International Council for Secure Software Design (ISSECO). In February 2014, Ed was named an ambassador for Privacy by Design (PbD), a group of leading intellectuals on the subject of privacy who are committed to ensuring the constant protection of personal information by adopting the principles of PbD (privacy by design).

For more than 20 years, Mr. Kelsey has provided technical support for the design of enterprise architectures in the commercial and government markets.
After becoming IBM's deputy technical director for computer security in 2008, he advised the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government on security matters, developed a secure cloud computing environment for the U.S. Air Force's computer command, and helped shape the security model of IBM's Smarter Planet initiative.
Prior to 2001, Herb collaborated in various business sectors such as banking, automotive, and information technology. After 9/11, and serving as an executive consultant to IBM, he worked on transformations of the DoD (Department of Defense) infrastructure and intelligence community; mainly serving for two years as chief architect for a major systems integrator of the DoD agency, overseeing the budget, design and technical execution of more than 40 registration programs.
