Which to generate an emergency reporting system, with geolocation and direct contact in real time, to give agile response to incidents and thus improve the security levels of the establishment.
In the characteristics of this market, its size stands out, since it occupies an area of 540 hectares, and the scope of its commercial offer, since it covers part of the food demands of the capital of its country, where more than 15 million people live. In addition, according to data on its website, it has 900 wholesale fruit and vegetable stalls installed in 18 pavilions; about 106,000 tons of food are marketed there per month; while an average of 700 trucks and 10,000 people enter and interact every day in this place.

In that sense, the application stands out because it allows to report easily and quickly to the monitoring center any incident within the Central Market, whether criminal acts, situations of violence, medical assistance and fires.
How the application works
Mercado next to you has 5 customizable buttons, where you can find: "SOS", an option that sends an alert message related to personal security; the "assistance" button used to request medical help; the "I'm here" option to report geolocation; sending fire and safety alerts on the way. Other important options within the application allow reporting gender violence, operational maintenance and garbage control.
In addition to this, the sending of alerts is done in real time and with geolocation, where the app allows direct contact with the security teams of the Central Market, the Dr. Ramón Carillo Medical Center that is responsible for attending to your emergencies, the firefighters and the police of the town.
Nahuel Levaggi, the president of the Central Market, presented this novelty as "an approach from technology and information technology to the most urgent problems of the people." Finally, the Marketplace app next to you is available in the Google Store offer for Android devices and in development for the IOS system, as of the date of this publication.
